Missouri moved its local-jail notification channel in-house in May 2026. Existing local-jail users had to create a new registration at the MOVANS portal. Legacy Bollinger County VINELink PIN
Before the May 2026 change, Missouri’s VINELink workflow allowed a user to search by first and last name or offender ID, open the correct result, choose phone or email, and create a four-digit PIN for phone notices. An automated call required that PIN to acknowledge the event. Calls could repeat if they were not confirmed. Email did not use the phone PIN.
Those steps explain old screenshots and saved registration notes. They should not be used to set up a current Bollinger County local-jail alert. Current local-jail registration uses the state MOVANS portal and SMS or email. A user who only remembers an old PIN should make a new registration rather than assume that the former phone channel is active.
Legacy results could show a name, age or birth information, custody status, location or reason for change, reporting agency, and sometimes a photograph.
